But how many times are we disappointed by the things we think we want? And what if the thing we want, isn’t the thing we really need? In the message, he discusses Jesus’ Triumphal Entry and challenges us to shift our understanding of following Jesus from what we want or expect Him to be to who Jesus really is. In the process we can break free from the crowd and lean into an authentic relationship with a living savior who will give us everything we need so we can be who He is calling us to be.

We trust God with so many things in our lives but often the last piece for the Christian, is trusting God with our money. We live in a cancel culture where it is all too easy to dismiss others or quit on them the moment they fail or let us down. Sometimes we even disqualify ourselves before someone else can do it first. But what happens when the other person is Jesus? What do we do when He disappoints us or when we have failed Him? Pastor John Hill examines Peter's encounter with Jesus after he denied Him not once, not twice, but three times. Peter teaches us that Jesus doesn't have a cancel culture and instead calls each of us to remain standing even when we feel distant from God.
