Did you know that the average person has around 6,000 thoughts in a single day? Most of these thoughts are minor, fleeting thoughts like: what am I going to eat for lunch and how many more minutes is this meeting going to last? But there are many thoughts that stick around and start to cause trouble in the way we view ourselves, others, and ultimately God. The enemy will often attack our minds as it relates to our security and our confidence in our relationship with Jesus through discouragement and doubt. In this message, Pastor John Hill unpacks the Helmet of Salvation as we continue in the series on the armor of God (Ephesians 6) called Battle Ready. In this message, Pastor John gives us practical ways that we can battle the enemy's attempted attacks in our minds by securing our thoughts through our relationship with Jesus and through Scripture. If you are struggling with anxiety, discouraging or doubting thoughts that are affecting your relationships and decisions, we hope you are encouraged and inspired by this message to know and believe that God has the authority to guard your heart and mind through the power of Jesus!

If someone asked you what is the most important thing you believe about God, what would you say? How about this simple statement: God is good. 3 small words, but words, that if you truly believed them to your core, could change the entire perspective you have on life, this world, your relationships and yourself.
In this message, Pastor Steve talks about the Shield of Faith and how so many of us go into spiritual battle without the core conviction that God is a good God who can be trusted. Some people do believe God is good, but they are holding on to so many other toxic beliefs about their pasts, their futures, and their relationships, that they are unable to hold the shield of faith because their hands are full with other, lesser things.
If you are feeling unstable in your faith or unsure if you really have what it takes to step into spiritual battle, we would love for you to listen to this message and be encouraged and inspired.
This week, the fiery arrows of the enemy ARE going to come flying from all directions. But if you are willing to act on what you know, if you are willing to hold fast to your faith in Christ…NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU WILL PROSPER!

One of the schemes of the Enemy is create chaos in our lives: confusion, distraction, division, and aimless living. So how can we stand our ground against the chaos of this world? This message about the Boots of Peace is all about how the PEACE of GOD is our best defense to the chaos of this world. Pastor Steve gives 3 ways that we can put on the boots of peace: how to receive God’s peace, how to remember God’s peace and how to rely God’s peace. Being at peace with God means that you are at war with the devil. So if you are struggling with family drama or conflict in the workplace, maybe you are struggling with depression or anxiety, maybe you are just overcome with all of the bad news in this world…we would love to invite you to listen to this message and be encouraged and inspired to suit up with the armor of God and stand your ground!

The Bible talks about how the heart is the wellspring of life and that we should guard our hearts as if our lives depended on it. The enemy is after our hearts. Jesus is after our hearts. Our hearts are ground zero of the spiritual battle that is taking place all around us. So what does it mean to guard our hearts? How do we put on the breastplate of righteousness, as talked about in Ephesians 6? In this message, Pastor Steve helps us understand not just the importance of the breastplate of righteousness, but how to actually wear it in our every day lives. How are we training ourselves for the battle? How are we focused on the gaining victories over the battles in our lives? How are we living out the righteousness that God has given us? In our postmodern era, the notion of absolute truth has been challenged with the claim that all truth is relative. This has resulted in catchphrases like, "live your truth" and "follow your heart". On the surface these mottos may seem harmless and even inspirational, but what if we have believed a lie that is actually keeping us from experiencing the life God wants for us? In this message, Pastor Carlo Mendoza teaches on the first element of the armor of God: The Belt of Truth, found in Ephesians 6. When we discover the Truth that God has revealed, we can be set free from the lies we believe.

We live in a world where we experience conflict every day. Political, Racial, and Religious lines are drawn everywhere we look. But what if those battles are only decoys to distract us from a more critical battle that *someone* doesn’t want you to see? What if the real frontline is not physical, psychological or emotional?

How do you respond when you come face to face with the reality that you messed up. Maybe you blame everyone else around you or the circumstances. Maybe you try and hide the mistake and attempt to go on as if nothing ever happened. We can try to hide, we can try to run, we can try to shift blame, but none of those are solutions that lead to peace and restoration. This is the final message in the series “REPLY ALL”, where we have been looking at the difficult relationships of King David. Pastor Steve walks us through 2 Samuel 11 and 12, where King David makes one of the worst decisions of his life. We learn about the consequences of sin and the heart of a loving God that is always ready to restore when we are ready to repent. Through the life of David, we see that there is nothing or no one too far gone that God cannot bring back to life. If he could restore a man as messed up as David, He could restore you too. We hope that if you are struggling with sin in your life, that you are encouraged by this message to learn and believe that God is not finished with you!

This special Mother’s Day message cuts right to the heart of those parents who are facing difficulties with their children. This message is part 2 of the series: Reply All (How to Reply to Difficult People), dissecting some of the dysfunctional relationships in the life of King David.
In this message, Pastor Steve unpacks the difficult question of when the problem is your child, how do we reply? Looking at 2 Samuel 15 and 2 Samuel 12, we learn about the painful unraveling of King David’s relationship with his son, Absalom. Pastor Steve gives encouragement and hope to all parents who are facing a difficult relationship with a child by reminding us that:
- I cannot REWRITE the past but I can REPAIR the present
- I cannot confuse LOVING with ENABLING
- I cannot always SAVE THE DAY when somebody NEEDS TO PAY
So if you are feeling like your family is a hot mess, we hope this message encourages you to know that you are not alone and that God has a plan, hope and purpose for you and your family’s future! There is always hope if we put Christ at the center and believe that Jesus can change a problem child into a Godly child.
