The Book of Revelation can be confusing and difficult to understand at times, but one thing that is for sure is that suffering is coming our way. We see it now, with the wars and sickness, pain and brokenness, but what does the Bible say about the suffering that is coming? Pastor Steve Garcia walks us through Revelation 6-7, helping us understand the magnitude of God’s justice and His love. If you are feeling overwhelmed with the suffering and pain and brokenness in this world, we pray that you will find encouragement, hope, and peace through this message as we see God’s plan in how He is going to ultimately deal with it all, and be inspired to live with purpose in the days we have be given.

Is the book of Revelation unfolding as we speak?
Is Putin the antiChrist?
Is the COVID vaccine the mark of the beast?
Is Jesus about to come again?
These are the questions that keep many of us up at night in anxiety, especially in light of the events that are going on in our world today. What does the Bible say about the end of the world? The Bible contains the book of Revelation, inspired by God as a culmination to the unfolding story of God that began with God in perfect communion with humanity and ends with God in perfect communion with humanity. In this message, Pastor Steve takes us through the first 3 chapters of Revelation to uncover the convicting and encouraging words of Jesus to the 7 churches and ultimately to us. This world is full of pain, and the pain will only intensify, but we can hold on to and believe that in the end, GOD WINS.

What do we do with the past and all of the emotions and feelings that come along with it? In part 4 of #happycouple, Pastor Steve Garcia walks us through John 4, where Jesus encounters a woman who thinks she can hide her past from the One who knows all things. Through this Scripture, we learn how Jesus engages the painful past of someone and offers encouragement for us to have a fulfilling future, despite it. In this message, Pastor Steve shares 3 unhealthy ways to deal with the past and then gives us 3 healthy alternatives. What should you do if you are married to someone who doesn’t share the same faith as you? Maybe you became a Christian after you got married, but your spouse didn’t. Maybe you got married thinking you could convert your spouse. Maybe it didn’t really matter to you that you didn’t share the same faith when you got married, but now it does. How do you navigate a relationship when you are going in different directions spiritually? Is it even possible to still be a #happycouple? In this message, Pastor Joel Sanchez walks us through key Bible passages that give us guidance on how to handle being in significant relationships with someone who doesn’t share our faith, as well as ways we can bring the Gospel to an unbelieving world, even in our homes.

Do you remember the first time you ever learned about sex? Was it in a middle school locker room or maybe an awkward conversation with a parent or maybe in your elementary health class. Conversations about sex are often uncomfortable especially in the context of church, but the Bible actually has quite a bit to say about sex. God created it with purpose and has a best plan for what role sex should play in our lives. This week, in part 2 of our message series, #happycouple, Pastor Steve unpacks what the Bible has to say about sex and gives challenging and practical wisdom in how we can honor God with our bodies, married or unmarried, amidst a topic that has become so distorted by our world.

If I’ve been saved by grace and all of my sins are forgiven, what’s the point in trying to make good decisions? Why should I care about how my actions affect other people’s faith?
These are the questions we wrestle with today and questions that people wrestled with thousands of years ago in the days of early Christianity, too.
In this message, Pastor Steve Garcia unpacks Romans 14 and the question: Do Rules matter?
If you are someone who struggles with wanting to know how to live in the “gray areas” of life, make sure you check out this message. You will be given practical ways to handle disagreements with others in the faith and see how what you do and how you act matter to God. Rather than judging people who don’t follow the same rules you follow, rather than dismissing people you see as weak. God wants you to work through the tension together, in relationships, by asking ourselves:
Is this a crisis of faith or a difference of opinion?
Is this an area where I need to grow?
Am I trying to win or trying to live?

Do any of these rules sound familiar from your church background?
You should never dance. Or listen to secular music. You should only use a certain translation of the Bible. Women should never wear pants. Men should never have long hair. Tattoos are strictly prohibited.
Many people grew up in these kinds of environments and even today still carry with them a fear of messing up, making the wrong move, and somehow disappointing God. In fact, most religions of the world teach that there is some kind of divine being (or beings) out there and this “god” requires a specific kind of behavior from its followers. So that makes our job to learn and keep the rules so that “God” won’t be angry with us.
Enter: GRACE. The Undeserved reward of Jesus. What would happen if we truly understood grace and lived underneath it’s promise? Check out this message in part 3 of the series “I’m Good” where we dig into Matthew 20, a story about an “unfair” landowner. If you feel like you are constantly having to earn God’s love or wondering if you ever had it, to begin with, we’d love to invite you to listen to this message!

How do you really know if someone is a Christian? Is it because of where they go to church?
Or if they go to church? Many people say that a Christian is someone who knows and believes that Jesus is God’s Son and has saved the world… but we find out in the book of James that even the DEMONS believe that!
Not all faith is saving faith.
In part 2 of our series, “I’m Good,” Pastor John Hill gives us practical insight on whether our faith is alive or dead. The reality is, what we DO reflects what we BELIEVE.

Have you ever wondered what you need to do to get on God’s good side? Maybe you see life as one giant scale of your good decisions on one side and your bad decisions on the other. Maybe you hope that you will get to the end of your life with more good than bad on your scale. But doesn’t that sound exhausting? And hard to measure…because really, what is “good”?
