How would you feel if your pastor wore $4000 sneakers?
Would you think, “wow, God must be really blessing them for their faithfulness and it makes me want to be more faithful!” or would you be thinking, “wow, what a crooked hypocrite. A real pastor would only buy shoes from Payless.” In this message, Pastor Steve unpacks the value of HONESTY in how we spend our money in the third part of a message series called: MONEY TALKS. Pastor Steve challenges the way we view our money through God’s Word and gives us 3 subtle signs that we love money and then an action step of how to love money less.

When it comes to money, so many of us have placed so many things ahead of God. We’ve put ourselves first, we’ve put our feelings first, we’ve put our fears first. But the reality is that Jesus wants to hold that first place in our lives. In this message, Pastor Steve unpacks the value of PRIORITY in part 2 of the message series: MONEY TALKS. In this message, we look back to the Old Testament at how the Israelites kept God first in their giving and how God’s blessing would follow. And the challenge is the same for us today: if we can trust Jesus with our lives, the question is: can we trust Him with our cash?

Money often stood in the way of something Jesus talked about the most - and that was faith. Maybe you are flirting with the idea of stepping outside of God’s best for your life…Maybe you are deep in the trenches of destructive decisions.
Either way, a COMEBACK is possible.
In part 5 of our series called FLEX, we are looking at the final chapter of Samson’s life. It is a tragedy that didn’t have to end the way that it did. And God wants us to learn from Samson’s life that His purposes will prevail, but we get to choose whether it happens with bruises or with blessing. “It will be different this time.”
“I can handle it.”
“The rules don’t apply to me.”
These are the words of someone who is heading quickly down a hill toward destruction. There are three choices you can make heading down this hill. In part 4 of FLEX, Pastor Steve shares about those 3 choices as he unpacks the tragic saga of Samson’s fall. Samson, who had incredible physical strength, but did not have the strength to control himself…And it cost him greatly. Every single one of us is capable of destroying our own lives. The bad news is, sin makes strong people weak. The good news is Jesus makes weak people strong. Check out this message to discover through the life of Samson, the path to life, not the path to destruction.

“If you hurt me, I get to hurt you back - now we’re even.” Does this sound familiar?
There are two problems with revenge:
The first is we think revenge will make us feel better // We won’t.
The second is we think revenge will end the conflict // It won’t.
In this 3rd message in the series FLEX about the life of Samson, Pastor Steve unpacks how Samson fell into the trap of revenge and how we can often find ourselves falling into the same trap. What does the Bible say about how to handle someone who wrongs us? Have you ever gotten to a place in your life where you asked yourself: “How did I get here?”
Maybe you found yourself stuck in a dead-end relationship. Or at the rock bottom of addiction. Or at a place where your credit card bill is demanding way more than what your bank account can provide. For many of us, we allow the undercurrent of this world to pull us far from the place we want to be and are headed for a certain disaster.
